Los Angeles, October 26, 2022 – Conan O’Brien’s award winning digital media brand and podcast company, Team Coco, is continuing its expansion into the podcast world with its newest scripted podcast, The Weird Place, debuting on Monday, October 31st. The 5-part limited podcast series, voiced and executive produced by Dana Carvey, will drop episodes daily that feature a new story and an after show titled “Talking Weird.”
Co-produced by Carvey’s new production company, Antonio’s Deli, The Weird Place is loosely set in the 1960’s and will take listeners back in time to a place full of supernatural occurrences. “Our vibe is earnest and our Narrator’s name is Rod – that tells you all you need to know.” says Carvey. “Conan O’Brien and Team Coco were the perfect partners on this project. They let us have total freedom to create whatever we wanted. I hope people like listening to it as much as we loved making it.”
