Quote from Chris Pine, Writer-Director-Star, POOLMAN:
“Getting to make Poolman was a dream. The artists with whom I collaborated, both in front of and behind the camera, were even dreamier, and shooting in my hometown (On film! Go Kodak!) was the dreamiest. It centers on a pool man named Darren Barrenman, an earnest and concerned, albeit emotionally stunted, citizen who, in his quest to solve a crime, ends up solving the mystery of who he is alongside a wild and misfit group of friends. I hope people can see a bit of themselves in DB. We at Team Poolman hope that our story makes people smile and feel just a little bit lighter in their hearts after leaving the theatre. Love’s Alive In Los Angeles! We hope you enjoy. xx CP.”
