Lake Forest, CA — September 20, 2019 — Cryptozoic Entertainment, leading creator of tabletop games, trading cards, and physical and digital collectibles, today announced that it will showcase new and upcoming collectibles, trading cards, and games at Toy Fair Dallas, October 2-4 at the Dallas Market Center. Run by the Toy Association, the annual show brings together manufacturers, distributors, and retailers to preview products, with a special focus on the holiday seasons in 2019 and 2020.

In Room #8400, Cryptozoic will display prototypes of Cryptkins Unleashed, the first 5-inch figures based on the company’s popular original IP, and the final version of the anticipated Wonder Woman: Princess of Themyscira Statue, which will be available later in 2019. It will also offer an early look at Catwoman Movie Collectible, a vinyl figure based on the iconic portrayal of the character in Batman Returns. In addition, Cryptozoic will preview two trading card sets coming later this year: CZX Super Heroes & Super-Villains and DC Bombshells Trading Cards III. In terms of tabletop games, it will offer looks at Steven Universe: Beach-a-Palooza Card Battling Game, a 2020 release, and DC Deck-Building Game Crossover Pack 8: Batman Ninja, coming later in 2019. Finally, the company will show several recently released games: DC Deck-Building Game: Rebirth, Epic Spell Wars™ of the Battle Wizards: ANNIHILAGEDDON Deck-Building Game, and Spyfall: Time Travel.

“Toy Fair Dallas gives us a chance to show the toy industry the incredible products we have just released and have planned for the months ahead,” said Jamie Kiskis, VP of Marketing & Product Development at Cryptozoic. “Fans have fallen in love with our Cryptkins IP, so we are especially excited to display prototypes of larger Cryptkins figures for the first time anywhere. We will also preview the many innovative collectibles, trading cards, and tabletop games that have put us in a great position to have a strong end of 2019 and an amazing 2020.”

Cryptozoic will preview the following collectibles, trading cards, and games:

Cryptkins Unleashed: Cryptozoic’s original IP goes bigger with 5-inch vinyl figures featuring all-new poses. The six core creatures from folklore and tabloid headlines include Bigfoot, Nessie, Chupacabra, Cthulhu, Mothman, and Unicorn. Sculpted by Sam Greenwell, each one comes packaged in a window box.

Wonder Woman: Princess of Themyscira Statue: Part of Cryptozoic’s CZX line of super premium products, this meticulously crafted polyresin statue reimagines Wonder Woman as a classical Greek sculpture. It measures 14 inches tall and draws inspiration from the famous Venus de Milo and the character’s ties to Greek mythology. The marble-colored statue features gold-accented versions of the DC Super Hero’s iconic bracelets, lasso, and armor, as well as a removable spear. The rim of the shield is inscribed with Wonder Woman’s classic epithet in Greek lettering: “Beautiful as Aphrodite, wise as Athena, swifter than Hermes, and stronger than Hercules.”

CZX Super Heroes & Super-Villains: Cryptozoic’s CZX super premium trading card release features thick, glossy cards with gold Deco Foil and memorable images from movies starring DC’s characters, spanning from 2005’s Batman Begins to the recent Aquaman and Shazam! The unprecedented list of Autograph Card signers is led by stars Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller, and Jason Momoa, who each signed multiple versions of their cards. Moreover, the release includes a 54-card Base Set, two Chase Sets, and randomly inserted one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn Artist Sketch Cards.

DC Bombshells Trading Cards III: The third release based on the popular DC Bombshells collectibles and comics again puts the focus on artistic interpretations of the 1940s-inspired characters. It features a Base Set and six Chase Sets that utilize Sketch Card art from Cryptozoic’s two previous DC Bombshells releases. In addition, the randomly inserted one-of-a-kind Sketch Cards showcase new art by some of today’s hottest artists. Each hobby box contains one Golden Goddess or rare Bronze variant of a DC Lil Bombshells: Series 1 2.75-inch vinyl figure. Alternately, some hobby boxes contain an ultra rare, totally unique Hand-Painted DC Lil Bombshells figure.

Steven Universe: Beach-a-Palooza Card Battling Game: Based on the hit Cartoon Network series, this card-drafting game allows 3-6 players each to become a Steven and battle to put together the best band and audience. As players recruit Gems and other characters each round, they can form Fusions and attack Party Crashers in the form of Corrupted and Homeworld Gems.

DC Deck-Building Game Crossover Pack 8: Batman Ninja: Based on the Batman Ninja animated feature, this expansion for the popular DC Deck-Building Game series is set in feudal Japan and allows 2-5 players to become Super Heroes who battle Super-Villains in giant castles that come to life. Moreover, it introduces cards with the keyword “Ninjutsu” that provide effects that can be invaluable to victory, particularly when the Super-Villains merge to form one final challenge.

Moreover, Cryptozoic will show its latest game releases at its booth:

DC Deck-Building Game: Rebirth: This entry in the popular DC Deck-Building Game series breaks fresh ground with linked Campaign Scenarios, character progression, and character movement between iconic locations. In the game, 1-4 players become members of the Justice League and move their standees to find cards for their decks and defeat dastardly Villains. Each Scenario includes special rules, new cards, and different locations.

Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards: ANNIHILAGEDDON Deck-Building Game: The first Epic Spell Wars deck-building game features the trademark over-the-top, mature humor and art that fans have come to expect from the series. It utilizes Cryptozoic’s Cerberus Engine in innovative ways as 2-5 players become Wizards and try to buy magical Spell, Wizard, Treasure, and Creature cards—among other card types—in order to defeat their opponents and become the Annihilageddon Tournament Champion.

Spyfall: Time Travel: In this latest social deduction card game in the popular Spyfall series, 2-8 players take on roles in memorable locations from history, as well as some futuristic locations. In the intense timed rounds, the non-spy players ask questions and give answers to deduce which one of them is the spy without giving away the location, while the spy player tries to figure out the location before his or her identity is revealed. The locations include the Colosseum, the French Revolution, Leonardo’s Studio, and a Lunar Base, among many others across time.
