NEW YORK (July 16th, 2024) – Ten Speed Press, Ten Speed Graphic, and Clarkson Potter will return to San Diego Comic-Con 2024 with nine panels, author signings throughout the show, an Eisner nomination, books for sale, and much more at the Penguin Random House booth (#1514/#1515).

EISNER NOMINATION

Watership Down, the world-famous novel by Richard Adams, has been translated into more than 40 languages, sold millions of copies, and been adapted for film and television multiple times. It has never been out of print since its first publication in 1972. The new, bestselling graphic novel adaptation from Ten Speed Graphic, adapted by James Sturm and illustrated by Joe Sutphin, has been nominated for a 2024 Eisner Award in the “Best Adaptation from Another Medium” category. The Eisner winners will be announced at a ceremony at San Diego Comic-Con on July 26th. Read the full list of 2204 Eisner nominees here.

Joe Sutphin (illustrator) and Juliet Johnson (daughter of Watership Down author Richard Adams) will make an appearance at the PRH booth at SDCC and are available for interview. More info below.
