As the latest gallantly fought 20th series draws to a close, with Maisie Adam
emerging victorious and earning a place in the upcoming fourth installment of Champion of Champions IV, Taskmaster has also revealed a brand-new quintet of star contestants for Taskmaster’s New Year Treat which is set to return over the festive season with a two episode double-helping for the first time.
Inviting five radically different famous faces from all corners of the entertainment world, the mighty Greg Davies will score the efforts of these stars as Little Alex Horne diligently keeps track of proceedings. The famous and courageous personalities stepping up to the challenge of impressing the formidable Taskmaster are: BAFTA-winning TV chef and musician Big Zuu (Big Zuu’s Big Eats, UKTV); former footballer Jill Scott MBE; actress, presenter, and children’s book author Rose Ayling-Ellis MBE (Code of Silence, ITV1); BRIT-nominated singer, songwriter and musician Sam Ryder; and lexicographer, etymologist and presenter Susie Dent (Countdown, 8 Out 10 Cats Does Countdown, Channel 4). Of these five incredibly special guests, only one can win the annual bunfight for Greg Davies’s coveted Golden Eyebrows trophy.
The previous ten weeks have seen Taskmaster series 20 draw to a momentous finale where Maisie Adam raised the gleaming gold head of the Taskmaster and earned their place in the fourth instalment of Taskmaster Champion of Champions IV. Five task titans will compete in the ultimate quest for victory as previous winners of series 16 to 20 return to square off in a one-off face off. Returning to the Task arena alongside Maisie Adam are Andy Zaltzman, John Robins, Mathew Baynton, and Sam Campbell. One of them will cart home the ultimate prize of Greg Davies’s buff body forged in gold.
Transmission details for Taskmaster’s New Year Treat and Taskmaster Champion of Champions will be revealed in due course
