TAGGS 2026 is happening April 16–19, 2026, and you can submit a proposal until November 15, 2025.
Our theme for 2026 is Rebellion and Resistance: Finding Hope in Fandom!
This year, we’ll explore how Geek and Gaming culture give voice to rebellion, resilience, and renewal. From stories of uprising and underdogs to acts of healing and hope, we’ll look at how fandom empowers us to resist despair, challenge injustice, and build communities of care.
At TAGGS 2026, we invite you to share how you and your clients, communities, or research engage with resistance and hope through geek culture. Whether that be through heroic narratives, games of defiance, creative worldbuilding, or the small rebellions of self-expression.
