  • Ms. Marvel meets her hero, Captain Marvel. Conversation starter about expectations vs. reality of heroes, and what it would be like to meet someone you look up to.
  • Captain Marvel tells Kamala she has to handle the crisis on her own. Kamala quotes Sheikh Abdullah, “We all face the end alone, he said. And we alone have to account for our time on Earth.” Conversation starter about growing up and having to be independent. Also parallels to existential crises.
