Lethbridge AB — Resurrection Games, a leading brand in collectible tabletop gaming, has partnered with the award-winning studio Lion Forge Entertainment to bring the epic world of IYANU to life—just in time for the holidays.
Inspired by the hit animated series IYANU—airing on Cartoon Network and now streaming on HBO Max—the Resurrection Games collection offers families and fans an immersive new way to experience the Nigerian-inspired superhero fantasy.
Pre-orders are now open for three debut titles, each capturing the adventure, mythology, and heart of Iyanu’s story:
● Iyanu: Crossroads (Ages 6+) — A memory tile game where young players use unique character abilities to collect tokens and artifacts, racing to gather seven and claim victory. Crossroads was named 2025 Best Geeky Gift: Games & Puzzle by The PopInsider.
● Yorubaland: Wild Terrain (Family Board Game) — Teams compete in a tactical “Tiger Tag” chase. Team Chosen seeks the Source while Team Corrupt pursues them across a dynamic, tile-built landscape.
● Iyanu: Mark of the Chosen (Ages 9+) — A push-your-luck card game where players draw from the Yoruba deck to master divine powers and earn victory points over three rounds.
Each game brings to life the characters and themes of IYANU, an epic coming-of-age story about a young orphan who discovers divine powers not seen since the Age of Wonders. Together with her friends Biyi, Toye, and her magical leopard Ekun, Iyanu must master her gifts and defend the kingdom of Yorubaland from an ancient evil.
Based on the Dark Horse Comics/YouNeek Studios graphic novel Iyanu: Child of Wonder by award-winning Nigerian creator Roye Okupe, the animated adaptation is produced by Lion Forge Entertainment, the Academy Award®- and Emmy®-winning studio behind Hair Love.
Shipping is estimated for early December 2025. The card game Iyanu: Mark of the Chosen is priced at $21.95, Iyanu: Crossroads at $26.50, and Yorubaland: Wild Terrain at $48.50, making the collection a versatile addition to any holiday gift guide.
