WHAT: The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County (NHM) in Exposition Park is proud to present a collaborative event and screening for PBS SoCal’s new animated series, Weather Hunters.

Families are invited to explore the science of weather through interactive activities and catch special screenings of the show featuring 8-year-old weather detective Lily Hunter and her dog, Cumulus. The event will feature several of the names and faces behind the series, including executive producer and series creator Al Roker.

NHM will host hands-on science activities (including cloud observation, frame making, and pinwheel design) and an interactive Weather Hunters board game. In the Commons Theater, two screening sessions will take place followed by live Q&A sessions with Al Roker and showrunner Dete Meserve. Character meet-and-greets will feature Lily and the PBS Mascot in the African Mammal Hall. Other creative talent in attendance will include executive producers Carin Greenberg and John Semper, as well as voice talent Tandi Fomukong (Lily), Kapri Ladd (Corky), and Lorenzo Ross (Benny).
